  • How about a honest palmtop pc running on 2AA batteries and running DOS by HP? My 200LX still works great, even if I have to stop and think in DOS John

  • He should have tethered it to his phone.

  • Scammer XD

  • Ohhhh so many quirks in this video

  • Yes...I saw lots of iPaqs, Palm and Sony Clies being used when I was in pharmacy school as well back in the day...this really brings back memories of me and my Palm Zire 71 circa 2003.

  • This reminds me of the old day of the internet where I have to download mp3 for 20 mins straight.

  • Had an HP pavillion slimline that ran windows vista i think, it had a dock specifically for the one that came with it. I was 6.

  • I knew he was gonna say Bubble Breaker the second he mentioned games

  • you are an actual nerd, arent you?

  • lol

  • I had t-mobile pocket pc

  • I mean, it didn't have a full-fledged operating system or anything, but for media the Creative Zen Vision W (released same year) was absolutely leagues ahead of this thing with a decent looking 16:9 screen of about 5" and a 30GB hard drive. It also cost a hell of a lot less than this thing. It had CF slot, speaker, headphone jack, and even composite AV out too so you could hook it up to any TV. Why you wouldn't get that instead of this pocket PC for media is beyond me. Until good smart phones because a thing, I used the crap out of that Zen. I think you could watch video for a good 12 hours on it, great for travelling, commuting.

  • Can't see shit

  • So uh, can I get a dbrand skin for one of em bad boys?

  • 13 year old pocket assistant gets him more excited then the modern tech that he has exclusive access too that most people would kill for

  • Um. Can you not promote ring anymore? I'm surveiled plenty already thanks.

  • You might be a Nerd, that a type of person that would not do an apology for the STUPID VIDEO THAT HE, AND Brandon's did a video regarding insulting photographers for using a FujiFilm professional camera in a insulting joking way, screw your PADD, and Brandon's cell phone. I will still be hounding you until you give in.

  • The Files app on iPad is the same as the Files app in iPhone!

  • Bubble breaker was literally the first game I’ve ever played and I’m not even old

  • Pocket pc is very close to pocket pussy

  • "It's no secret I've always been a bit of a nerd" Linus (a really big nerd)

  • my wifi has 1ghz cpu

  • Omg flashbacks to my HTC Fuze days 🤦🏾‍♂️

  • 5:35 Since when was windows button at bottom right?

  • I had a pda with windows mobile 6.5 and was able to play StarCraft broadwar on it with a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard

  • sweet device

  • Remember when HP tried making a mobile phone-cum-computer back in 2016?

  • Ah the good old days when gadgets were tools to get you through the day instead of distracting from the meaningless Ness of existence

  • Bubble fucking breaker. I've been trying to remember this name for years and suddenly linus drops it outta nowhere as it was nothing, holy crap.

  • It had touch ID

  • they had university back then?

  • Back when Windows mobile OS was cool.

  • What company in their right mind would keep changing their own proprietary connectors? 😲

  • For what it is it's ahead of it's time I'm just surprised that Microsoft didn't jump on it harder

  • Uh bro we played bejewelled on an old gateway I think its older

  • Windows Mobile was the shit!!! I had Nextel Motorola i930. Huge flip phone running WM with the walkie talkie function. Then I moved to a UTStarcomm PPC-6700 and finally ended with a HTC PPC-6800 Mogul on Sprint. Some of the best devices I ever owned! Smartphones before they were even called that!

  • lol ive still got my Telecom Apache pocket pc, still works to

  • 10:37 Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa......

  • Found my old iPaq last week with its cradle woohoo

  • For a 13 year old device looks like it's still pretty snappy

  • Can it play Minion Masters?

  • wow.. i used to own a my sister's pre-owned Cingular 8125.. upgraded with cooked rom windows 6.5 .. hahaha

  • Shit I have 2 of these in my living room do they sell for lots

  • I still have my tandy z pad...

  • 2:34. That's p*rn.

  • This little thing is a powerful little device surprising

  • If you want one to dissect I thing I have one too

  • i remember my old palm pilot

  • 1 I really want to see someone turn one of these old pre 2008 pocket pcs into a emulator or try to upgrade it to work today. 2 the best thing about these old pocket devices is if you ever got in a fight with a freind you could throw it at them miss put a dent in their wall then pick it up like you didn't do nothing and it would most likely be fine. ( I mean a normal grab and toss if you throw it like a baseball something will break but it will most likely be part of your freind

  • as he wrote david and park.. fast n furious 4 popped in my mind... who else can relate?

  • Worked in IT all my life and developed numerous apps for many companies over the years in PocketPC and Windows Mobile.. Some still run today and verify process/parts within factories around the world. Just because it's OLD doesn't mean it's not worthy, lol. Brings back memories!

  • Thank you Apple for delivering us from this horrible design factor... And thank you android for putting a fire under Apple to actually implement common sense stuff into iOS...

  • 10 years ago? But LMG was created already isn't it? So Linus was running both LMG and his painting business at that time?

  • He could have used his note9 as a hotspot with no password

  • *Media* ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

  • but can it run minecraft?

  • 5:33 "top left and not the bottom right" If you turn away from the mirror and look at the screen directly, Windows is easier to use, Linus :D

  • Wow, 2006 seems like forever ago. The leaps we've made technologicaly speaking are incredible. 13 years in tech time is like eons. I mean late 2005 we got the Xbox 360. Next year we'll be getting the 4th (and most likely last) Xbox console (I'm counting all XBones as one gen (OG/S/X) that just blows me away and makes me feel old.
